Vacation: A Quilter's Dream family will be on vacation enjoying the great weather of Washington State, visiting friends, sightseeing and even seeing snow, from August 1 through August 9. The shop will be on vacation as well and will reopen on August 10th. Yes, I will be going to quilt shops. Seattle is home to Kona Bay and In The Beginning Fabrics so you know I will be visiting them as well.

We will have a trunk show from Marcy Layton featuring her patterns and the books she has written. The names of her books are Calendar Kids and Handprint Quilts.

CHRISTMAS: You may think Oh no, not now in 90+ degree weather but before you know it December will be here an you will say, Oh my, Christmas is next week and I need something quick and easy to make. Why wait ‘till Nov or Dec to start your project. Wednesdays are sit and sew days, come in and see what other quilters are doing and make your projects without distractions from home. Do you work during the day? Come in on Wednesday evenings and hang out with the working girls. We have lots of fun and almost anything goes. Fabrics are coming in for Fall and Christmas.
ALL NIGHT QUILTING: AUGUST 28TH, Beginning at 6:00PM. Bring your favorite dish for our pot luck and quilt ‘till you wilt. Don't forget to wear your “jammies”. Let have some fun.

WORKING GIRLS QUILT GROUP: PRESSED FOR TIME...take some time for yourself and join our WORKING GIRLS QUILT GROUP
Come join our group. We meet at the shop every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm. This is a great opportunity to sit and sew or work on charity quilts. Relax after a hard days work and quilt to your heart's content. Even if you don't work you can join in. A great opportunity to meet fellow quilters.
NOTE: There will be no late night girls on July 28th..I will be packing for vacation instead.

shapes, e.g., butterflies, leaves,

Parking: Just a reminder, the VA clinic is not open on the weekend so you can park on the street in front of the VA Clinic.
Special Items: Are you looking for that special book, pattern or notion and are not able to find it. Let me know and I will see if one of my vendors has it and I will gladly order it for you the next time I place an order.
Gift Certificates: Do you have a gift certificate from A Quilter's Dream? Gift certificates expire so remember to look at the date to redeem before the expiration date.
New Service: I now have an Accu Cut and have the dies to cut Hearts, Butterflies, Stars, Strips, and more. I will have pre cut hearts, leaves stems and others. You could also choose the fabric you would like to cut into strips and I will cut it for you.
Block of the Month: BLOCK OF THE MONTH is in full swing. There are two different blocks, Americana Modern from Nancy Halverson, $17.95 per block including the fabric for the pieced border and binding. It does not include the backing .
Bee Industrious is $11.95 per month and includes the borders, backing and binding. To sign up, call the shop at 352-728-1482.
